Feelin' so fly (like a G6)...

[x] Truth: I am becoming a little bit of a Bridezilla.

Well...sorta. I mean, I wasn't the first time (or second, for that matter ;) but for some reason, I'm ultra detail-orientated this time around (but not a psychobitch--at least not yet ;). We're thinking a venue change since the guest list keeps going up, up, up. I'm prowling around for the perfect (vegan) fascinator (why do so many use ostrich feathers? UGH!) and the dopest-ever heels. I'm scouting cupcake designs, thinking about invites. I'm scoping out dresses for the girls already since I can predict their sizes for next spring pretty well, I think (Bear is a different story--that kid grows about an inch a night). We have the officiant and the photographer already lined up, but I'm sure I'm missing so many other items on my "to do" list...

Yeah, Bridezilla. Less than six months out but I'm already obsessing. But it's a good thing, no? I mean, I get to marry the man of my dreams again--what could be better than that? :)

Invitations are up next on my Incredible List of Things To Do. Ugh! You know, for a laid back girl like myself, this detail-orientated perfectionist stuff...yeah, it's for the birds. ;)

[x] Little Flower is miserable with a cold right now. K. is feeling better, Bear and I are feeling better, and Beauty is...okay. But poor Little Flower is miserable with a constantly running nose and some serious congestion. Poor baby. She's napping now so hopefully that will recharge her batteries. I hate it so much when my littles are under the weather.

[x] Also, why do I obsessively love this and this? I just feel like dancing all over the house.

[x] My brother is a research machine. No, really. He gets interested in a topic and he rocks out the research like none other. I think it's starting to rub off me. I kinda like it. :)

[x] I'm thinking about kicking the coffee habit. Have you all fallen out of your seats in shock? Yeah, me too. I've just been feeling so much...vital and vibrant lately, it has me thinking that maybe I need to can the coffee kick.

Oh, Starbucks. How much joy and pain and financial ruin you brought to my life. ;) It's funny to think about my first Starbucks experience. I was a "late bloomer", so to speak--I don't think I started drinking *$ regularly until...maybe 2004-2005? (J., Bear's biological father, was a barista. Suffice to say, I picked up a Starbucks habit since I was rather sweet on him back then.) I remember finally finding a drink I loved: the iced caramel macchiato. The thought of drinking one now makes my teeth ache. Five years later and I'm a soy cappuccino (extra foam) drinker. Oh, how the years go by...

Stupid thing to think about, but it occurred to me the other day while I was waiting in line for my coffee.

[x] I love these chilly, sunny days. Bring on the snow! I'm already listening to Christmas music and contemplating outdoor decorations before it gets too chilly. And I'm just biding my time until I can toss the tree up. *sigh* I love Christmas. I went from loving it, to not loving it so much, to adoring it. The thought of three sweet little faces on Christmas morning brings tears to my eyes. And this is Little Flower's first Christmas at home! And I'm hosting a family dinner. Sweet!

[x] I'm thinking about changing my hair. Again. I want to keep it red ('cause I think I make a pretty hot redhead--just sayin' ;) but I want to change up the cut a little bit. Maybe something a bit edgier? I have some ideas. Once I see my girl Jay in a month or so, I'll have to run it past her. I've saved a few pics of styles I adore, so...we shall see. I'm pretty fearless when it comes to my hair (if I hate it, it will always grow out) so...yeah.

[x] Yesterday, I spent a ton of time in the kitchen. Today, my goal is to chop the veggies for my (vegan) knishes. I think I'll make them tomorrow when K. is home since they're the very best when fresh from the oven, but a little prep work wouldn't be a terrible idea.

Okay, off to make the kids lunch. LF is still napping soundly so I'll leave her in peace for now, and Bear and Beauty are simultaneously cooking and playing "movie theatre". So cute. Happy Sunday!
