"So let go (you let go) // just get in // oh, it's so amazing here..."
[x] I've received such an outpouring of support via so many mediums
regarding my last entry. You guys! You all had me crying this
morning--in the best possible way. I'm so lucky to know so many amazing
people in this world. So very lucky indeed.
[x] Last night shaped up pretty well. I made a few vegan pizza pockets with a tube of Teese just begging to be put to good use, and they were awesome (K. gave them a resounding double thumbs up). We then went to one of my all-time favorite restaurants, The Chicago Diner, for milkshakes. I am a Temptation addict, but Bear puts me to shame. He's even worse than I am. Apple doesn't fall too far from the tree, no? The boy's definitely got my sweet tooth. Anyway, it was a great night to just be out and about in the city with my four favorite people on the planet. We got everyone home and in bed by, say, 9:00, so K. and I were able to hang out and enjoy the rest of the night together. It was just lovely. We talked a lot (and stressed over) the guest list for the event we're now referring to as Wedding Version 2.0. We're limited to fifty people--the five of us included--and we want to invite, oh, say, about a hundred. :p Anyway, we're working on it, so...yeah.
[x] Today I woke up to a little bit of Starbucks love and the sweetest note ever. I just made myself an early lunch with my leftover Teese--a grilled pizzawich--and it was awesome. Today is just a good day to be alive. I love days like this. <3 The older two elected to perfect their lunch-making techniques (they're super huge into making their own pb&j sandwiches right now--they have a BLAST with it), the littlest is afloat amidst a sea of toys and she is movin', shakin', gigglin', and havin' a good time. Bear wants to bake cupcakes for daddy after Little Flower's nap and so that's what we're going to do (Beauty called dibs on "dumping cups [of flour into the bowl]" so Bear will be the master decorator.) We have some new ideas for LF's therapy ball that I'd like to put into practice today (which is great as she loves it) and Bear is talking about a sleepover in my bed tonight. Beauty lined up about 8,534 animals on her bed this morning while she was playing with them; suffice to say, she wants NO part of a sleepover with boring 'ol mommy when she has a bed filled with loveys.
The day is gray and
overcast, but it's sunny inside the house today. I do foresee an early
bedtime as we could all use a little bit of catch up tonight. Throw in
some LF snuggles, some reading time for all three kids, "booty shop"
with Beauty, and "Go Fish!" with Bear and we have a full day ahead, no?

Anyway, it's time for LF to eat even though I know she's more interested in playing.
Thank you again for all the support on my last
entry.Truly.
Today is just a good day to be alive. <3
